The Oliphant Family Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 1st Year Financial and Mentoring Support programme, designed to empower outstanding students as they begin their university journeys.
Our 2026 Recipients:
Thembeka Sikhuba – BEngTech in Mechanical Engineering, University of Johannesburg
Memory Moola – BEngSc specialising in Biomedical Engineering, Wits University
Nhlanhla Makhoba – BSc with specialisation in Econometrics, University of the Free State
Gomolemo Marumo – BSc Computer Science, University of the Western Cape
Beauty Shao – BSc in Meteorology, University of Pretoria
These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication, resilience, and potential. The Foundation is honored to support them through financial assistance and mentorship, helping them navigate the challenges of their first year and laying the foundation for long-term success.
Celebrating Excellence in Education
The Foundation also extends heartfelt congratulations to our partner school, Phehellang Secondary School in Parys on the remarkable achievement of a 97.5% matric pass rate, a testament to the commitment of teachers, the determination of learners, and the visionary leadership of Mrs. Dimakatso Maloyi-Mofokeng. Her dedication has created an environment where excellence is nurtured and celebrated.
